Thank you for your interest in performing in the annual Phoenix Dance Studio Family Aerial Show! This year we are having as storybook/fairytale theme. The kids classes are dancing to songs from the Amazon Original Movie Cinderella. This doesn’t mean you have to be a princess, it doesn’t have to Disney or Pixar, but some character or feel from books/movies for the youngin’s and young at heart. Please remember this is a show designed for families and routines must be appropriate for all ages. These shows are made even more fun when there is a diversity of styles- show your comedic side or perform with a friend from class. Use multiple apparatus The sky is the limit, okay, well, maybe the ceiling is the limit but let your creativity shine!
Expectations:
The Phoenix Dance Studio Family Aerial Show is currently scheduled for Saturday March 18, 2023.
** We encourage participation in both shows. You’ve worked hard to create an amazing routine, so we want you to share it with both audiences. If you know you can only do one, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
**Both shows will be family-friendly. This means that if you are performing, your routine must be accessible and appropriate to people under the age of 18 in terms of violence, nudity, and content. Also, please consider audience and energy levels! Fun, upbeat, or high energy routines are always appreciated!

** Dress Rehearsal will be Thursday, March 16 at 6:00pm
**All routines are subject to approval and/or cancellation at any time including and leading up to the date of performance.
**If your routine is approved for performance, we expect you to take that as a serious commitment to the studio and to the show. If you decide, for any reason, not to complete or perform your routine please communicate that with Erica immediately (erica@thephoenixdancestudio.com) and know this could impact your future participation in shows. However, please don’t hesitate to reach out for help, private lessons, and guidance if you are looking for more support to get your routine show-ready!
